Dr. Ryan Turner, Periodontist

Dr. Ryan Turner joined Coram-Selden Dental Group in 2020 and brings a wealth of expertise in Periodontics and Implant Surgery to the practice. Dr. Turner graduated from the prestigious Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2010, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society the same year. Dr. Turner was an Assistant Clinical Instructor and the Chief Resident in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. As a board certified periodontist and implant surgeon, he specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal diseases, as well as in the placement of dental implants, bone grafting, and oral reconstruction.

Dr. Turner is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and American Dental Association, among other respected organizations. Dr. Turner is certified in Pinhole® Surgical Technique (PST) for gum rejuvenation and performs LASER surgery. His research in the field of Periodontics was awarded the famous Birnberg Research Award and has been published in a number of world-renown dental journals. He has lectured at various meetings and seminars in the field.
